Using feedback to inform the Covid-19 response in Zimbabwe and Lebanon

Ground Truth Solutions, in partnership with the British Red Cross (BRC), provided remote support to the Lebanese Red Cross Society (LRCS) and Zimbabwe Red Cross Society (ZRCS) to put in place mechanisms to tap public perceptions about Covid-19.

The National Societies used the feedback to inform their Risk Communication and Community Engagement (RCCE) plans and programming during this public health emergency.

In addition to collecting feedback on the immediate effects of Covid-19, the mechanism enabled the National Societies to track the longer-term impacts of the Corona virus on communities and adapt their response strategies accordingly. The project also embedded the feedback mechanisms within existing complaint and response mechanisms used by the National Societies so they are used beyond the Covid-19 pandemic.
