Since 2018, the Department of International Development (DFID)-funded North East Nigeria Transition to Development (NENTAD) programme has provided regional assistance for people affected by crisis including in education, treatment of malnutrition, food, and protection to the populations affected by the ongoing armed conflict in the states of Borno, Yobe, and Adamawa.

Ground Truth Solutions is working with IMPACT Initiatives and Girl Effect Nigeria to carry out Third Party Monitoring (TPM) of NENTAD's aid delivery, through an independent assessment among service recipients. Ground Truth is providing ways for poeple affected by the crisis to assess the services provided. We are carrying out a combination of light-touch beneficiary surveys and qualitative interviews. We will communicate the views of affected people to DFID and their implementing partners, and help them respond accordingly.
